Current Fishing Report











Another beautiful day on the island with lots of folks. Those out fishing this earlier this morning found some flounder, sea mullets, bluefish, and croakers.
Noah Zenger of Louisville, NC had a nice 1.5 lb flounder and came by the shop. Chris Johnston of Lenoir, NC also had a nice flounder and shared his photo. Augustine Hernandez of Jacksonville, NC caught a nice red drum of 46" (32" girth)Saturday evening and shared his picture. Wayne Daniels of Ocracoke caught a 2 lb 8 oz pompano while fishing inshore with his dad. Kenneth Brooks of Whitakers, NC and Quincy Robertson of Mill Valley, CA caught spanish mackerel with Capt Albert O'Neal of "Miss Teresa". The Boy Scout Troop 97 from Belair, NC came by with a cooler of dolphin caught today while fishing on private boats. Corie caught a nice 11 pounds dolphin, Hunter caught a couple of dolphin-one at eight pounds, BJ had a 3 pound dolphin, Jimmy had a 3 pound with a false albacore, and Logan, Dylan, and Cole were also on the trip- Dylan was the only one not pictured. Inshore reports include spanish macakerel, flounder,and puppy drum & black drum at Shell Castle. Offshore reports still include dolphin.
