Current Fishing Report

Folks out fishing today on the beach found scattered puppy drum, sea mullets,and some nice flounder-small and keeper sized. We had a rain shower come through this afternoon and
that did send some people in from the beach early.
Alan Fox of Goochland, VA shared his photo of a nice 27" puppy drum this afternoon. Eilie Blair had a 6 oz croaker and came by the shop for a photo. Dylan Esham of the Pony Island Motel on Ocracoke is still hanging onto his kid's derby leader title for his 7 oz croaker today. Chloe Kelley and Hannah Gregory of Wake Forest, NC stayed inshore yesterday with the wind and caught black drum, triggers, and black sea bass with Jim Kelley. Zachary and Olivia Hubshman of Chesapeake, VA shared their photo of flounder and speckled trout from inshore. Jeff Gross, Ocracoke, NC and Tracey Kelley of Wake Forest, NC came by with their trout from inshore today. Hampton Roberts of Tyro, VA had a nice puppy drum today and shared his photo with us. Brenda and Bob Blecher of York Springs, PA caught a nice puppy drum and their limit of clams today inshore and shared their photo.
Inshore reports included puppy drum, speckled trout, spanish mcakerel, and flounder.
