Current Fishing Report

The winds have been blowing about 15- 25 mph out of the West the past day making it tough to fish the beach. Those that went out reported occaisonal puppy drum, scattered bluefish, a couple of sea mullets, and dogsharks.
The winds are forecasted to begin switching out of the SW and decreasing on Thursday and continue through Saturday which should help those fishing on the beach.
Judi Dudley of Scottsville, VA shared her photos and philosophy "Never let the wind slow you down!" with us. She caught bluefish with Casy Dudley and Luke Newton Monday. Dale Newton also of Scottsville, VA caught a nice 32" red drum. Seldon Taylor of Swan Quarter stopped by on the way home to share a photo of his 25" puppy drum caught Monday. He also released four red drum up to 30" and some bluefish. Alan went out Monday and caught a 32" red drum but his self portrait did not come out.
