With calm winds and sunny skies, it has been really beautiful out on the beach the last couple of days. Those out fishing the beach report numerous short puppy drum, quite a few black drum, a few speckled trout, blowtoads, and some skates.
Frankie Houston of Salisbury, NC came by this afternoon with a couple of black drum he caught on shrimp. Kevin Safrit of Kannapolis, NC shared his photo a a couple of short puppy drum caught on shrimp at the same time this morning.
