With the rain this weekend, some folks did well with black drum, a few puppy drum, and an occasional flounder mixed into the catch. Others found small bluefish, skates, and blowtoads. The skies today have become beautiful and sunny but the winds are really stirring the water making it a little rough out there today.
Sarah and Brian Warren of Ocracoke, NC shared their photos of some nice black drum from yesterday with us. Susan Pollich of Charlotte, NC caught a 24" puppy drum and shared her photo with us. Joel Coert and his dog Wylie also of Charlotte, NC shared a photo of another black drum caught yesterday off the beach. Linda Rippe of Ocracoke, NC had some really nice black drum Saturday afternoon and came the shop for a great photo. Rich and Jeannie Merrell of Monroe, NC also caught black drum Saturday and stopped by before heading home for a photo.

We have finally made it to December and our store hours are 8 AM to 2 PM everyday. We are hoping to get some beach time in now!
