With the rain and winds from the last few days finally stopping late yesterday afternoon, we are seeing some folks heading back out to try fishing on the beach. The few out fishing the past few days reported sea mullets, small bluefish, a few slot sized puppy drum, and dogsharks.
Danny Fletcher of Elizabeth City, NC spent almost an hour pulling in this 74" shark yesterday and then released him back out into the surf. Steve Currier of Stockton, MD caught a 1 pound 9 oz sea mullet Saturday and came by the shop for his citation and photo. Carol Johnson of Snow Camp, NC shared her photo of a couple of nice flounder from Friday with us.
With the winds calm, sun shining,folks out fishing again today we are hoping for more photos for you!
