Fishing report
We finally have enough folks here fishing and the winds have calmed down to report on fishing. There has been nice catches of flounder, bluefish, some pompano, sea mullet, croakers, and several puppy drum yesterday and today.
Scott Horner of State College, PA came by this morning with a nice 24" puppy drum. Stacy Finch of Asheville, NC shared her photo of her catch of bluefish from yesterday. Jake Weaver of Hickory, NC caught bluefish on his boat "Reel Partners" yesterday. Granddad John Crowe shared his photo of his grandson, Ethan Hatch, with a nice puppy drum caught on squid today.
Inshore reports include numerous spanish mackerel, bluefish, a few pomapno, a few speckled trout,puppy drum, and some nice keeper sized flounder.
