Go to http://www.CapeHatterasAPA.com/ for current info! ![]() Fishing Report Those out fishing yesterday reported flounder, quite a few bluefish, pompano, and sea mullets. We also heard of a cobia that was lost in the surf on the beach. Phyllis Woody of Valdese, NC becomes our new derby leader for her 4 lb 11 oz flounder caught on cut bait. Will Birney, Tripp Birney, Mike Sadler, Frank Wood, and Dominick Massimiano, all of Elkton, MD had 20 bluefish yesterday caught on finger mullet. Rick and Amy Mayes of Roanoke, VA shared their photos of the past few days fishing of spanish mackerel and bluefish. Dr. Tom and Marcia Morris of Maiden, NC went out on Wayne Belch's charter yesterday. For Marcia's first fishing trip, they caught quite a lot of spanish mackerel and bluefish. Christine Powell of Columbus, NJ shared her photo of her amberjack from a trip out on the "Devereux" with Capt Reid Robinson. John Brown of Whitakers.
