Fishing Report
Today's surf fishing report includes numerous small bluefish, quite of lot of small flounder with some keeper sized ones thrown in, sea mullet, and a couple of pompano.
Tripp Birney of Elkton, MD stopped by with his 15" bluefish caught on a 2 oz glass minnow this morning. Rachel Kushner from Atlanta, GA had a nice 2 # 1 oz flounder yesterday afternoon. Mike Sadler of Elkton, MD came by with one of his sea mullet yesterday. Sean Appleby of Vienna, VA came by with his one pound gray trout. He also caught plenty of croakers. John Castle of Hampton, VA and George Paul of Charlottesville, VA become our new derdy leaders for their twin spanish mackerel of 2 lb 12 oz caught while out on the "Miss Teresa" charter with Capt Albert O'Neal. Holly Castle of Hampton, VA becomes our kid's derby leader for her spanish mackerel of one pound 10 oz while also out on the "Miss Teresa". Jamie Paul of Ocracoke, NC becomes our kid's derby leader for his 7 oz sea mullet while out boating with Granddad.
Inshore reports spanish mackerel, bluefish, and a few flounder. Offshore reports include amberjack, cobia, and dolphin.
