Fishing Report
It has been a little slow on the beach the past few days with the heat here. However, it has cooled off a little bit yesterday and today and we are seeing nice sea mullets, pompano, small to medium bluefish, flounder, and a big drum that we know of.
Justin "Young Fisherman" Francis of Charlotte, NC had a nice 47" red drum last night. Jordan Crowell and Chris Johnston, both of Lenoir, NC caught three keeper sized flounder on squid with the largerst at 18". They become our new derby leaders. Shawn Queen of Kings Mountain, NC also had a keeper flounder yesterday and shared his photo. Phyllis Woody of Valdese, NC had a nice 37" cobia while boating yesterday and came by the shop. Thanks for the photos guys!
Inshore reports still include cobia, bluefish, flounder, and spanish mackerel.
