Fishing Report It is hot! With all this heat, fishermen are mostly trying their luck early in the day and later in the afternoon. Those fishing tihs morning reported small to medium bluefish, sea mullets, pompano, and some keeper flounder from the beach. Christine Eubank of Ramseur, NC was heading back today to take care of some new puppies, but stopped by the store to share her photo from last night of a large 30+" bluefish. Carol Johnson of Snow Camp, NC had a nice 1# 2 oz sea Mullet caught on mullet yesterday. Larry Johnson of Snow Camp, NC and Eddie Dixon of Graham, NC had some sea mullet this morning on mullet and shared their photo. Capt. Ronnie O'Neal of "Miss Kathleen" shared his cahrter photo of Chris, Chelsea, Caroline, Travis, and Dusty of Cashiers, NC. They caught amberjack and triggerfish yesterday. Capt. John Ferrara of "Fish Tale" shared his photo a TJ Frost, Tim Waggoner, and Brad Ramby of Goldsboro, NC with their catch of triggers, black sea bass, and a nice flounder on Saturday. John "Daddy Rat" Morris and Carson of Weaverville, NC came by after their charter with Capt Wayne Belch with a nice 30# cobia this afternoon. Have fun fishing! Melinda Rating: |
