Fishing Report
Today's fishing reports includes large and small bluefish, sea mullet, and sheepshead from the beach. The weather has finally become really warm with winds out of the SW today.
Carson Lankford of Bessemer City, NC had a 32" bluefish and shared his photo with us. Linda Wicks of Wilmington, NC had two nice bluefish and let us take her photo yesterday. Loren Almeroth of Washington, DC had a large 36" bluefish in the surf. Jim and Iris McClain of Raleigh, NC had a nice sheephead from the beach that they brought by the store. Greg Liles of Chesapeake, VA had a 30" bluefish and came by for his photo. CJ Wynn of Ocracoke, NC becomes our kid's derby leader with his 7 oz croaker. Tyler Hegamyer of Frederick, MD had a 31" bluefish on Friday and shared his photo with us. Ted Dodgin and Jesse "Rambo" Best shared their photo of excellent catches of bluefish, grey trout, and spadefish while on the"Tarheel" charter with Capt Ryan O'Neal.
Inshore reports include spadefish, bluefish, grey trout, spanish mackerel, and cobia. False albacore are found right off the beach.
