Go to http://www.CapeHatterasAPA.com/ for current info! ![]() ![]() Fishing Report After a beautiful morning, we have a front coming in now, increasing the winds and stirring up the surf and improving the fishing along the beach. Fishing reports include large and small bluefish, sea mullets,and a few keeper flounder. Tom Falvey of Arlington, VA had a 11 pound bluefish this afternoon. Harold Jenkins of Charlotte, NC had an 8 pound bluefish this afternoon and stopped by for his photo. Carl Jenkins of Newton, NC had a one pound sea mullet. David Byers also of Newton, NC had an 8 pound bluefish. Bill Wicks of Wilmington, NC had a nice bluefish earlier today. John Gilbert of Alexandria, VA caught a 29" bluefish this morning on bunker. Robin Day of Sperryville, VA shared his photo of a nice 7 pound bluefish today. Linda Rippe of Ocracoke, NC becomes our new derby leader with her citiation sea mullet of 1 pound 9 oz. Frank Palasciano of Harpers Ferry, VA shared his photo of a nice puppy drum caught in the sound on Monday. Ron England sent in his photo from the "Miss Kathleen" charter with Capt Ronnie O'Neal. Vera and Ron England, Ann-Simms Brockman, and Wayne Cunningham caught trigger fish and a bunch of black bass. Inshore reports include spanish mackerel, cobia, puppy drum, and flounder.
