Fishing Report
Today's report includes small and large bluefish, sheepshead, sea mullet, a few pompano,
a couple of flounder, and a large speckled trout.
Dennis Newton of Fredericksburg, VA came in this morning with another citation sheepshead from the airport beach. This was his largest yet at 11 pounds. Lewie Lawrence of Gloucester, VA had a citation 11 pound speckled trout last night walking on the backside of the island. It was such an impressive trout, it needed both photos posted. He is our new derby leader needless to say.David Simpkins, Jr and Melissa Nichols of Washington, NC had a citation pompano of 2# 11oz yesterday and a nice 6.5# sheepshead from the beach. I also have posted some photos emailed to my old email address which I did not realize were there- so sorry! Wade Gaskins of New Bern, NC shared his family photos from 2 weeks ago of 3 slot limit puppy drum while here. Sam Ensogna of Winchester, VA emailed Lisa LaFalce's photo of her 10# bluefish from Ramp 67 from last weekend. Sorry about the oversight at that email address guys!
Inshore reports include cobia, spanish mackerel, and bluefish.
Have fun fishing!
Melinda
