Fishing Report
The fishing report from the beach includes numerous large and medium bluefish, a few flounder, some sea mullets, and a couple of puppy drum. It started spitting rain this morning, but it is expected to clear up this afternoon and get warm and sunny with SW breezes.
I might have to go out myself today....
Bryan Baker, Shannon Sykes, Scott Bell, and Heath King,all of Durham, NC were nice enough to share their photos of some of the bluefish they caught yesterday. Joe Driscoll of Apex, NC came also had a nice bluefish yesterday. Debbie Cobb of Mills River, NC had a great bluefish as well on the beach yesterday. Jeffrey McMillen of Durham, NC shared his photo of a nice bluefish caught on mullet. Keith Hoback of Virginia Beach, VA caught this bluefish shortly after heading on on the beach. Jim Waring of Westminister, MD and Bob Waring of Qunicy, PA shared their photos of a couple of bluefish that they caught. Boyd Bourne of Montpelier, VA had four bluefish on cut bait yesterday. Jim Neal of Liberty, NC and Alex Neal of Lumberton, NC shared their photos from Wednesday of a 30" drum and bluefish.
Inshore reports include puppy drum and large bluefish. Zackary Butenhoff of Greensboro, NC shows off his puppy drum catch aboard the charter "Miss Kathleen".
Offshore reports include wahoo, dolphin, and king mackerel.
