Fishing Report
With winds strong enough out of the North yesterday to stop the ferry runs in the afternoon, there were only a few folks on the beach yesterday and this morning. Those that did make it out to be sand blasted reported the large bluefish still out on the beach. The winds have slowed down this afternoon, and we are expected pretty weather tomorrow.
Chris Cram of Caroga Lake, NY had a 36" bluefish yesterday. Clyde Cooper of Trinity, NC also had a nice bluefish yesterday. The Gregory family of Black Stone, VA had bluefish up to 36". Dan Jaworsky of Newton, NC emailed this photo of his fishing trip with Ed Mendosa, Craig Chalmer of Charlotte, NC, Stan Evans and John Caldwell of Hickory, NC. They caught a total of 40 blues on their trip and a puppy drum.
